Our mission goes beyond technology – we empower the next generation by educating students in low-income areas, providing them with hands-on learning in technical theater that can lead to future career opportunities.

Our Story
Our Story
Future Focused Theatrical was founded by DeKoven Martin, a high school student and lighting designer from Fort Worth, Texas, who saw a big gap in resources for schools and nonprofits in his community. DeKoven noticed how expensive professional lighting and audio products are, making it hard for these organizations to invest in quality equipment. As a result, many rely on subpar systems that limit the impact of their performances and events.
Driven by his passion for technical theater and a commitment to helping others, DeKoven created Future Focused Theatrical to support nonprofits and schools that deserve better. Through affordable system upgrades and hands-on training, he aims to bridge the resource gap, ensuring that creativity isn’t held back by budget constraints and that students can experience the magic of professional theater technology.
